El Paso Texas Declares State Of Emergency

The Texas city of El Paso has officially declared a state of emergency due to the number of migrants from Mexico crossing the border into their city. El Paso's Mayor Oscar Leeser is asking for additional resources and does not believe the number of migrants crossing the border will decrease anytime soon.

"Our numbers will go from 2,500 to four, five, or maybe 6,000" - Oscar Leeser

Oscar Leeser believes once the Title 42 policy ends in a few days, the number of migrants from Mexico will increase significantly.

The Mexcian migrants have spilled into downtown El Paso. The city Shelters are at capacity and city blocks are lined with huddled masses.
