House Passes $1.9 Trillion COVID-19 Relief Package


 The House of Representatives passed the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package. The final vote tally was 219-212. 

Two democrats Kurt Schrader of Oregon and Jared Golden of Maine voted against the bill. Also, no republicans voted for the bill. 

The package includes enhanced unemployment benefits and direct payments of $1,400. This COVID-19 relief package bill will now go to the Senate for them to vote on it.
