Kathy Hochul To Become First Female Governor Of New York

 Andrew Cuomo decided to resign as Governor of the state of New York due to sexual harassment allegations. This will lead the way for Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul to become the new Governor of New York. 

Kathy Hochul will become the first-ever female Governor of the state of New York. Cuomo's resignation is scheduled to take place at the end of August 2021. 

Hochul is a democrat who is from Buffalo New York. She is a firm supporter of same-sex marriage and abortion rights.
